Similarly, we were not made to stay in our comfort zones. Growth, discovery, and true fulfillment come when we dare to venture beyond what is familiar and safe.

Staying in the “harbor” may protect us from storms, but it also keeps us from the exhilaration of the open sea—the lessons learned in adversity, the strength gained through challenges, and the joy of reaching new destinations. If we never take risks, we may avoid failure, but we also miss out on our greatest opportunities.

Today, ask yourself: Where am I playing it too safe? What dream or goal have I been avoiding because of fear? Remember, you were built for more than just staying anchored.
