Insight on Today's Quote
That quote is basically a gentle punch in the panic. Progress doesn’t require a perfect setup… just an honest start. You don’t need new tools, a better schedule, or “the right mood.” You already have something in your hands right now: time, a skill, a small amount of energy, one next step.
A lot of stress comes from comparing your “today” to someone else’s “finished.” But God often works through the ordinary… steady obedience, small choices, and simple faithfulness. Starting where you are isn’t settling… it’s being real. Using what you have isn’t limiting… it’s wisdom. Doing what you can isn’t weak… it’s courage.
Step Up To The Challenge
The 3-Step Ashe Challenge (10–20 minutes total):
Start where you are: Write down the ONE thing you’ve been avoiding (just one sentence).
Use what you have: List 3 resources already available (example: phone notes, 20 minutes, one contact, your laptop, your Bible, your experience, your current budget).
Do what you can: Take one small action today that takes 10 minutes or less (send the message, outline the post, pay one bill, clean one corner, draft one paragraph, walk for 10 mins, pray for 5 mins and write one line of gratitude).
Bonus (if you want extra impact): Before sleeping, answer:
“What did I do today that proves I’m moving forward?”
